Innovo Build and Redcon Secure $650 Million Wadi Yam Contract on Egypt’s North Coast

Innovo Build and Redcon Construction have joined forces to deliver the DP03 East package of the Wadi Yam development in Ras El Hekma, a coastal hub on Egypt’s North Coast. The alliance won a competitive tender worth more than EGP 12 billion (about $650 million) and is tasked with completing the project within 21 months.

Scope and Timeline

The DP03 East package spans roughly 323,000 sqm of built‑up area. It includes over 660 residential units—stand‑alone villas and townhouses—alongside public‑service facilities, lakes, a commercial mall, extensive landscaping and road paving. The partners plan to finish the work by mid‑2028, adhering to a tight schedule that reflects both firms’ experience in large‑scale construction.

Why the Alliance Matters

Redcon brings more than three decades of Egyptian market knowledge, while Innovo contributes international project‑delivery expertise across four continents. Managing Director Mohamed Gamal of Innovo said the collaboration aims to introduce sustainable construction technologies and improve efficiency in Egypt’s fast‑growing urban sector. Redcon’s Vice Chairperson Amal Abdel Wahed highlighted the contract as proof of the alliance’s technical capability to handle complex, specialised projects.
