SCZONE Seeks More US Investment Through New Partnerships

SCZONE’s chair, Mostafa Sheikhoun, hosted Eric Gaudiosi, deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, to map out fresh investment ties.

  1. Both sides scoped joint projects in water desalination, solar power and clean energy, eyeing U.S. tech and expertise.
  2. They also explored opportunities in pharma, IT, training centres and the expansion of ports and logistics zones.
  3. Sheikhoun highlighted the zone’s integrated mix of industrial parks, ports and logistics hubs as a ready‑made platform for American firms.
  4. Gaudiosi affirmed Washington’s interest in deepening dialogue and fast‑tracking procedures to make the SCZONE more investment‑friendly.

The meeting marks a concrete step toward turning talks into real projects.
