Giandomenico Tiepolo’s Masterpieces Open at Vicenza’s Gallerie d’Italia

Art lovers in Vicenza have a fresh reason to celebrate. Starting October 9, the Gallerie d’Italia, part of Intesa Sanpaolo’s cultural network, will showcase a vibrant exhibition titled “Un mondo nuovo,” devoted entirely to the works of 18th‑century painter Giandomenico Tiepolo.

The show brings together a striking selection of the artist’s canvases and fresco studies, highlighting his playful use of color and light. Visitors can wander through rooms filled with mythological scenes, pastoral landscapes, and intimate portraits, all reflecting Tiepolo’s knack for turning everyday moments into theatrical spectacles.

Beyond delighting locals, the exhibition aims to revive interest in the Tiepolo legacy, drawing tourists and scholars alike to Vicenza’s historic heart.
