Jannik Sinner Ends Season Early Due to Knee Injury

Tennis star Jannik Sinner has officially decided to step away from the court for the remainder of the year. The 25-year-old Italian, who has held the top spot in the rankings since April, has been battling persistent pain in his right knee ever since his second Wimbledon victory back in July. Rather than pushing through the discomfort, he is opting for a conservative treatment plan to ensure his recovery.

This means Sinner will miss the final stretch of the season, including major stops like Vienna, Paris, and the ATP Finals in Turin. He will also sit out the Davis Cup Finals in November. With Sinner sidelined, the door is now wide open for Alexander Zverev to climb the rankings and take control, marking a major shift in the tennis landscape for the coming months.
