Madinet Masr Expands Fractional Real Estate Platform SAFE

Egyptian developer Madinet Masr has opened a new phase of its digital investment platform, SAFE, allowing users to purchase fractional real estate shares starting at EGP 5,000. On the first day of the launch, investors purchased more than 3,100 shares. The platform allows individuals to invest in property without purchasing entire assets, utilizing a one-time payment model without installment plans.

The platform currently manages over EGP 1 billion in assets and has distributed more than EGP 50 million in rental income. Beyond direct investment, the service includes a secondary marketplace where users can resell shares before the asset’s exit date. Since its inception, SAFE has sold over 23,000 shares to more than 5,200 investors. The developer reports that 40% of users have returned for additional investments, signaling sustained interest in the model.
