Stellantis CEO Filosa Links Mirafiori Production to Energy and Logistics Costs

Stellantis CEO Jean-Philippe Imparato, speaking in Paris, stated that the potential addition of a second vehicle model to the Mirafiori plant in Italy depends on resolving specific infrastructure and cost challenges. The company requires improvements in energy costs and logistics before committing to further production at the Turin facility.

Regarding the company’s broader strategy, the executive confirmed that the current Italian industrial plan remains in progress. He noted that the future production capacity at the Cassino plant is contingent on the performance and market demand for the Maserati brand. The statements come as Stellantis manages ongoing shifts in its European manufacturing footprint.
