Sixteen emerging musicians and visual artists performed Thursday at Bologna’s annual Respighi and Russia Festival, highlighting a collaborative training program between the Conservatorio Martini and the Accademia di Belle Arti. The event, organized by the two institutions, featured works by Ottorino Respighi alongside Russian composers, paired with contemporary art installations created by the students.
Program director Elena Rossi said the initiative aims to deepen cross‑cultural dialogue and provide practical stage experience for participants. Audience members noted the blend of classical repertoire and modern visual concepts offered a fresh perspective on both Italian and Russian musical heritage.
The festival concludes next week, and organizers plan to expand the project to include additional European partners, hoping to strengthen educational ties and broaden exposure for young talent. #Respighi #Russia #BolognaFestival #YoungArtists #MusicEducation
