Spanish right-back Dani Carvajal joined Getafe CF on Tuesday, signing a contract that runs until June 30, 2027. The 34-year-old, who spent more than a decade with Real Madrid, will play for the La Liga side for the remainder of the current season and the next two full campaigns.
Club officials confirmed the agreement was reached after Carvajal and his representatives concluded negotiations earlier in the week. Getafe’s sporting director said the veteran defender brings experience and depth to a squad looking to improve its defensive record.
Carvajal, a former Spanish international, leaves Madrid after 13 seasons, during which he won multiple league titles and European trophies. His move marks a new chapter in a career that began at Real Madrid’s youth academy.
