Egypt Cabinet Approves 652-Acre Salloum Logistics Zone and New Sadat Dry Port Company

Egypt’s cabinet on Wednesday approved a 30-year licence for an industrial developer to build a 652-acre integrated logistics zone beside the Salloum land port. The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly in the New Administrative Capital.

In the same session the cabinet authorised the Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport to set up a joint‑stock firm, the Sadat Dry and Land Port Company, which will construct, operate and maintain a dry port on land allocated by the General Authority for Land and Dry Ports in Sadat City, Menoufia governorate. The project aims to link land, dry and sea ports with transport networks and to attract private‑sector partners.
