A new exhibition in Florence features a collection of rare books and historical newspapers dedicated to Carlo Collodi, the author of Pinocchio. The display, hosted at the Palazzo Corsini Suarez, offers visitors a look at literary artifacts and archival documents related to the writer’s life and work. Organizers have curated the materials to highlight Collodi’s historical significance within Italian literature.
Alongside the literary collection, the exhibition includes 12 oil paintings by artist Vinicio Berti. The inclusion of these artworks serves to connect the literary themes of the display with 20th-century visual art. The exhibition remains open to the public at the historic venue, providing scholars and readers an opportunity to view these items in person. #Florence #CarloCollodi #Pinocchio #ArtExhibition @UffiziGalleries @VisitFlorence
