Red Bull Racing has confirmed that Laurent Mekies will remain as the team’s principal through the 2031 Formula 1 season. The announcement solidifies the leadership structure within the organization for the next several years.
Mekies assumed the role in the summer of 2025, succeeding longtime team principal Christian Horner. The French executive has overseen operations since that transition. The contract extension guarantees his tenure for the remainder of the decade as the team continues its current competitive cycle.
