Bramante Cloister Exhibition Explores Intersection of Food and Art

The Chiostro del Bramante in Rome has launched a new exhibition examining the relationship between culinary culture and artistic expression. The showcase, titled “Cibo a Regola d’Arte,” features 190 works created by more than 60 international artists.

Spanning five centuries, the collection traces how food has served as a central theme in creative history. Curators have organized the pieces to highlight the evolution of taste and creativity from the Renaissance to the modern era. By assembling a diverse range of media, the exhibition demonstrates how sustenance has influenced visual representation across distinct time periods.

Organizers stated the project aims to bridge the gap between traditional art galleries and the universal experience of eating. The exhibition remains open to the public, offering a comprehensive look at the historical and cultural significance of gastronomy. #Rome #ArtExhibition #ChiostroDelBramante @BramanteCloister
