Antonio Canova’s monumental bronze horse will be back in Bassano del Grappa on Oct. 27, officials said.
The sculpture will arrive in ten crates and will require a month of preparation before it can be installed in the city square. Local authorities have scheduled the unloading and assembly work to begin shortly after the delivery.
City officials expect the exhibit to attract visitors and boost tourism during the autumn season. The project is part of a broader effort to showcase Bassano’s cultural heritage.
