An exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Friuli earthquake will open at Villa Manin on Nov. 14. Titled “Rinascite,” the display explores the concept of reconstruction through a diverse collection of works. Organizers stated the exhibition features items ranging from historical pieces by Leonardo da Vinci to contemporary art installations.
The event marks five decades since the seismic disaster, which caused widespread destruction across the Friuli region. Villa Manin serves as the venue for this retrospective, which aims to highlight the historical resilience and recovery efforts following the event. The exhibition will remain open to the public as part of the regional commemorative activities.
