Diesel Prices Edge Higher While Petrol Falls on Italian Roads

Italy’s diesel price rose slightly on Tuesday, according to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (Mimit).

  1. Average diesel cost on the national road network increased to €2.259 per litre.
  2. On motorways, the price reached €2.294 per litre, a modest rise from the previous report.
  3. Conversely, gasoline prices on regular roads fell, while rates on highways remained unchanged.
  4. The data were released by Mimit as part of its daily fuel price monitoring.
  5. Analysts note the shift reflects broader market trends in European fuel markets.

Consumers can expect minor fluctuations in fuel costs in the coming days.
