Direct-to-consumer home appliance brand Nuuk is in negotiations to secure approximately ₹100 crore, or $10.5 million, in a new funding round. The potential deal values the company at roughly ₹500 crore, or $53 million, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Investor Interest in Appliance Sector
The funding round is reportedly being led by Wipro Consumer Care Ventures and RPSG Capital Ventures. If completed, the investment would exceed the company’s previous $6.6 million Series A round, which concluded in August 2025. Sources noted that the final valuation and investment total remain subject to change as negotiations continue. Representatives for Nuuk, Wipro Consumer Care Ventures, and RPSG Capital Ventures did not provide comments on the matter.
Nuuk was established in 2023 by Gazal Kalra, co-founder of the logistics unicorn Rivigo, and Shalabh Gupta, the former chief growth officer at Noise. The startup focuses on design-oriented home and kitchen products, ranging from cordless vacuum cleaners and fans to air fryers and juicers. Its sales channels include its own website, major e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart, and the quick-commerce provider Blinkit. The company also maintains a physical retail presence in the Delhi NCR region.
Operational Growth and Market Context
In its first full year of operations, fiscal year 2025, Nuuk reported operating revenue of ₹16 crore, a significant increase from ₹31.8 lakh in fiscal year 2024. Expenses rose to ₹16.4 crore, resulting in a net loss of ₹39 lakh. The company continues to compete against established manufacturers such as Philips and Bajaj, as well as newer entrants like Atomberg and Lifelong.
