Indian logistics startup Porter has appointed former Amazon executive Gaurav Jain as its Chief Financial Officer. The company also announced the promotion of Shubham Gupta to Chief Technology Officer and Mohit Rathi to Chief Marketing Officer.
Jain replaces Anurag Jalori, who departed the company six months ago. Before joining Porter, Jain spent more than 11 years at Amazon, where he served as director and head of finance for India operations and supply chain. Jain is a chartered accountant and previously held leadership positions at Shalimar Paints and the financial services firm Religare.
Porter CEO and cofounder Uttam Digga stated that Jain’s experience in scaling businesses will assist the company during its next growth phase. Digga added that the promotions of Gupta and Rathi reflect their contributions to the company’s development.
