DevSparks 2026 Developer Summit Announces Delhi Debut

DevSparks 2026, a developer summit organized by YourStory, will hold its first event in the Delhi NCR region on December 5 at the Crowne Plaza, Gurugram. The conference aims to address rapid shifts in software development caused by the integration of artificial intelligence.

Organizers expect more than 500 developers to participate in the summit. The event agenda includes over 10 deep-dive sessions and presentations from more than 15 technology leaders. The summit focuses on equipping developers with skills in agentic AI, autonomous coding agents, multi-agent systems, and generative AI tools designed to enhance productivity.

This event marks the fifth edition of the summit, following previous gatherings in Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Since its inception, the initiative has engaged more than 27,000 developers and featured 173 speakers across its various locations.

The Delhi NCR Technology Ecosystem

The Delhi NCR region serves as a significant hub for startups and Global Capability Centres (GCCs). According to the Tracxn Delhi NCR Tech Annual Funding Report 2025, regional tech companies secured $2.9 billion in funding during 2025. The autotech sector led this investment with $1.4 billion, while Delhi-based firms captured 51% of the total regional funding. The year also saw 19 companies go public, including Lenskart, Pine Labs, and Physics Wallah.

Government efforts are currently underway to expand the region’s technology infrastructure. The Delhi Start-up and Incubation Policy 2026, approved in July, allocates Rs 400 crore over five years for mentorship, incubation facilities, and entrepreneur incentives. Additionally, the government approved the Go-Delhi Foundation in October with Rs 50 crore to assist startups and MSMEs with product engineering and testing.

The draft IT Policy 2026–2031 further proposes the establishment of more than 200 GCCs. It also outlines plans to train 500,000 to 600,000 individuals by 2031 in fields such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, and AI.
