Five Companies Set for IPOs as Indian Market Activity Continues

Five companies are scheduled to launch initial public offerings (IPOs) next week, aiming to raise nearly Rs 2,600 crore. The upcoming offerings include EAAA India Alternatives, SFC Environmental Technologies, M K Sons Fine Jewels, BLS Polymers, and Bombay Coated and Special Steels.

October 26

EAAA India Alternatives, a subsidiary of Edelweiss Financial Services, begins its Rs 1,200-crore IPO. The subscription period for this offer for sale (OFS) runs through October 28. The company set a price band of Rs 1,585-1,665 per share, resulting in a valuation of Rs 10,765 crore at the upper end. The firm previously raised Rs 360 crore from anchor investors.

October 28

M K Sons Fine Jewels Ltd opens its Rs 275.4-crore IPO. The offering, which includes a fresh issue of 1.36 crore shares and an OFS of 34 lakh shares, will close on October 30. The price band for the issue is set at Rs 153-162 per share.

October 29

SFC Environmental Technologies concludes the subscription period for its Rs 668-crore IPO. The offering includes a fresh issue of Rs 150 crore, intended for debt repayment and working capital, alongside an OFS. The shares are priced between Rs 313-330, valuing the company at Rs 3,233 crore. BLS Polymers and Bombay Coated and Special Steels are also scheduled to float their offerings during this week.

Market Status

Merchant bankers report that several other companies, including AGS Health and Avaada Electro, are preparing for future IPOs. These entities are expected to announce price plans by November 5, ahead of the Labh Pancham period in Gujarat. So far in 2026, 104 companies have raised over Rs 1.4 lakh crore through public issues.

Why it matters: The continued volume of IPOs indicates sustained investor appetite in the Indian primary market. For international investors, this activity reflects broader liquidity and expansion trends in the region, as companies raise capital for debt reduction and business operations.
