MotoGP Announces Full 2027 Calendar with 22 Races Across Five Continents

Riders gathered in a press room in Milan as the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme released the official 2027 MotoGP schedule on Thursday. The 22‑round calendar spans five continents and marks the return of a Grand Prix in Argentina.

New venues and geographic spread

The announcement confirmed a race in Adelaide, Australia, joining the series for the first time since the early 2000s. Organisers said the Adelaide Street Circuit will host the Australian round in November, providing a southern‑hemisphere swing after the European summer events.

South America will be represented by the Argentine Grand Prix, scheduled for March at the Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo. The series will also continue to visit traditional venues in Europe, Asia and North America, completing a truly global itinerary.

Impact and outlook

Team principals welcomed the expanded schedule, noting the opportunity for manufacturers to showcase new machinery on diverse tracks. Fans in the Southern Hemisphere expressed excitement about the Adelaide event, which promises to draw large crowds and boost local tourism.

The full calendar is now available on the MotoGP website, and ticket sales are set to begin next month. With 22 races confirmed, the 2027 season is poised to be one of the most extensive in the sport’s history.
