Stellantis Models Set for Car Tax Exemption in 2027

Stellantis announced that a range of its vehicles will be exempt from the annual car tax starting in 2027.

2027 Policy Implementation

The exemption will take effect from the first day of 2027 and will apply to qualifying models across the group’s brands.

Brands Included

Vehicles from Citroën, Fiat, Jeep and Peugeot are confirmed to be part of the tax relief programme.

Eligibility Criteria

Stellantis said the exemption applies to models that meet the government’s emissions and fuel‑efficiency standards for the year. The company did not disclose the exact thresholds.

Model Coverage

While the full list has not been released, Stellantis confirmed that several models from each of the four brands will qualify. The company indicated that the selection will focus on newer, low‑emission vehicles.

Current Status

Stellantis is finalising the list of exempt models and expects to publish detailed information before the end of the year. The tax exemption is intended to encourage adoption of cleaner cars and align with national environmental goals.
