Small teams often face a common hurdle: the ambition to deploy artificial intelligence is high, but the headcount required to build, secure, and scale production-ready agents is often lacking. To bridge this gap, Google Cloud plans to host a briefing on October 30 in partnership with YourStory, detailing its 2026 Gemini roadmap.
Building and Securing AI Agents
The first session targets developers and technical leaders, focusing on the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. Google Cloud product leaders Jamie de Guerre, Shubham Saboo, and Dmitry Pimenov intend to demonstrate how to manage the entire lifecycle of an AI agent. The platform aims to provide a secure infrastructure for teams to build agents using the Agent Development Kit.
Presenters will show attendees how to launch agents into production via a fully managed runtime. The session also covers the use of Agent Gateway and Agent Identity to manage permissions and security protocols. According to Google Cloud, these tools allow organizations to enforce security policies automatically as deployments scale, without requiring extensive security staffing.
Improving Customer Experience
The second portion of the briefing addresses business leaders managing customer interactions. It focuses on replacing fragmented, basic chatbots with integrated AI solutions designed to handle complex support tasks across the entire customer journey.
This segment highlights Gemini 3.1 Live Audio, which offers natural voice capabilities intended to resolve issues through fluid conversation rather than rigid menu systems. The technology includes a smart context engine designed to retain customer information throughout an interaction, preventing the need for users to repeat details. Google Cloud stated that this approach aims to move organizations beyond standard automation toward more efficient, responsive support.
