Property Exit has launched in Egypt, offering a platform for real estate resale and investment solutions. The company is supported by Gateway Financials, a consultancy firm focused on feasibility studies, asset valuation, and investment advisory services.
The platform aims to assist buyers, investors, and property owners by providing a structured framework for evaluating real estate opportunities. Services include market research, investment analysis, and financial advisory to facilitate decision-making. Mohamed Abou Khadra, who has over 20 years of experience in technology, marketing, and business development, has been appointed CEO of the new entity.
Addressing Market Information Gaps
Property Exit intends to reduce the information asymmetry between buyers and sellers through data-driven assessments. The platform evaluates properties based on market value and financial viability, factoring in variables such as asset characteristics, demand, costs, and current financial obligations. These services are designed to help investors compare properties against their financial goals and determine the most effective strategies for managing or exiting their investments.
During a press conference announcing the launch, Abou Khadra stated that exiting an investment is a normal component of an asset’s lifecycle. He noted that such decisions often reflect market health and the ability to maximize returns rather than financial distress. The platform aims to offer investors various liquidation options based on contractual terms, property characteristics, and regulatory requirements.
Industry Context and Backing
The platform is backed by Gateway Financials, which has operated since 2019. According to Abou Khadra, the consultancy has worked with more than 3,000 real estate developers across 12 countries. The launch event was attended by various industry figures, including Norhan El Tour, CEO of Gateway Financials, and representatives from Akam Developments and EBNY Developments.
