Renault announced a €600 million investment in Spain to develop five new vehicle models, two of which will be fully electric.

The French automaker disclosed the funding plan during a briefing with Renault España officials. The capital will support design, tooling and production preparation for the upcoming models.
Model Portfolio
Five new models are slated for development under the program. Two of the vehicles will be battery‑electric, while the remaining three will use conventional powertrains.
Production Sites
Renault Spain manager Stein said the models will be assembled at the company’s plants in Valladolid and Palencia. Both facilities will receive upgrades to accommodate the new models and the electric variants.
Current Status
The investment plan is now approved, and Renault is moving to detailed engineering and supply‑chain coordination. Production timelines have not been disclosed, but the company aims to launch the models in the coming years as part of its broader European expansion.
