Indian health-tech firm Clinics On Cloud has secured $12.5 million in Series A funding led by Dubai-based Model42, a platform backed by Enlightened Minds Investments. The Pune-based company intends to use the capital to scale its network of connected microclinics and enhance its artificial intelligence capabilities.
Global Expansion Plans
The company announced that the United Arab Emirates will serve as its new global headquarters. Clinics On Cloud plans to leverage this base to expand its operations into the United States, Southeast Asia, and Africa. According to the firm, the funding will also support research and development efforts, alongside new partnerships with healthcare providers to integrate advanced screening tools.
Founded in 2018, the startup specializes in technology-enabled healthcare access. Its primary offerings include “Health ATMs,” which are compact stations equipped with medical devices for health checks, digital reporting, and telemedicine access. The company also operates Health Lounges, Box Clinics, and mobile medical units designed for corporate sites, hospitals, and underserved areas. CEO Abhay Agarwal stated the investment would help the company scale its mission to provide accessible healthcare regardless of geographic location.
Market Context and Reach
Clinics On Cloud reports having completed over 12 million health screenings through more than 3,500 deployments. Its technology is currently utilized across eight countries in various settings, including government health centers, rural communities, and Indian defense establishments such as the Army and Navy.
The funding round occurs during a period of contraction for the broader Indian health-tech sector, where investment dropped from $707 million in 2024 to $447 million in 2025, according to Venture Intelligence data. Despite this decline, niche preventive-health and AI-driven companies continue to attract capital. Public initiatives are also growing; the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission reported over 900 million digital health accounts by May 2026.
