Wealthtech Firm PowerUp Money Raises $10 Million for AI Expansion

Bengaluru-based wealthtech platform PowerUp Money has secured $10 million in a new funding round led by Flourish Ventures. Existing investors including Peak XV Partners, Accel, Blume Ventures, Kae Capital, 8i Ventures, and DeVC also participated in the round.

The company plans to deploy the capital to enhance its artificial intelligence-driven wealth management platform and expand its managed advisory services. PowerUp Money reports that over 1.5 million users currently track mutual fund portfolios worth more than Rs 2.5 lakh crore on its application.

Expanding AI-Enabled Advisory Services

PowerUp Money is introducing Elite Prime, an AI-powered service designed to provide digital financial planning. The tool evaluates user financial goals, risk tolerance, and current holdings to recommend asset allocation, lump-sum investments, and portfolio rebalancing. It also identifies potential portfolio gaps and suggests diversification into assets such as gold, silver, and international investments.

The company is also scaling its Infinite service, which combines digital planning with access to human advisers. According to PowerUp, the Infinite service has reached nearly Rs 500 crore in assets under management in approximately nine months. CEO Prateek Jindal stated that AI allows for a more comprehensive, wealth-manager-like experience that can be delivered digitally to a broader range of investors.

Market Context and Growth

The funding follows rapid growth in India’s mutual fund sector. Data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India shows industry assets under management reached Rs 82.64 lakh crore by the end of September 2026, compared to Rs 15.8 lakh crore ten years prior. Monthly systematic investment plan contributions reached Rs 32,490 crore in September, indicating a trend toward regular, long-term investment strategies.

Other firms in the sector have also attracted capital, including Wint Wealth and Centricity, which raised significant rounds earlier this year. PowerUp Money’s paid subscription service, Elite, has surpassed 100,000 members in under a year.
