IndiQube Reports 80% Reduction in Second Quarter Net Loss

Coworking space provider IndiQube reported a net loss of ₹5.9 crore for the second quarter of the 2027 fiscal year, an 80% decrease compared to the ₹29.9 crore loss recorded during the same period last year. The company also improved its financial position sequentially, reducing its loss by 75% from the ₹23.9 crore loss reported in the first quarter of fiscal year 2027.

Revenue Growth and Financial Performance

Operating revenue for the quarter reached ₹471.9 crore, representing a 34.9% increase from the ₹350.1 crore generated in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. On a quarter-over-quarter basis, revenue rose by 11.6% from ₹422.6 crore. Including ₹20.3 crore in other income, the company’s total income for the period stood at ₹492.1 crore.

Financial filings indicate the company benefited from a deferred tax credit of ₹6.4 crore, while current tax expenses were recorded at ₹4.9 crore. Total expenses for the quarter amounted to ₹499.5 crore, a 23.5% increase from the ₹405.3 crore spent in the second quarter of the previous fiscal year. However, quarter-over-quarter expenditure growth remained limited to 4.4%.

Market Context

The coworking sector continues to adjust its operational costs while scaling revenue. IndiQube’s ability to manage total expenditure growth while maintaining double-digit revenue increases suggests a shift in operational efficiency for the firm.

Why it matters: This data highlights the ongoing financial stabilization of large-scale coworking providers. As hybrid work models persist globally, companies like IndiQube that demonstrate an ability to narrow losses while expanding revenue provide a benchmark for the commercial real estate sector’s recovery and long-term viability in emerging markets.
