RapidClaims, a startup specializing in artificial intelligence for healthcare administration, is currently negotiating a funding round of approximately $30 million. Sources familiar with the matter indicate that WestBridge Capital is expected to lead the round, which would value the company at roughly $200 million.
Expanding AI in Medical Billing
Founded in 2023 by Dushyant Mishra, Abhinay Vyas, and Jot Sarup Singh, the company develops software designed to automate revenue cycle management. Its primary focus is helping healthcare providers in the United States reduce billing errors, address rejected insurance claims, and streamline reimbursement processes. The startup’s product suite includes tools for medical coding, clinical documentation, and the management of denied claims.
These platforms integrate directly with existing electronic health record systems used by hospitals, physician groups, and ambulatory surgery centers. The company is currently working with design partners to expand its capabilities to include inpatient coding for hospital admissions. RapidClaims did not respond to requests for comment regarding the potential investment, and WestBridge Capital declined to comment.
Investor Interest in Healthcare Automation
The potential Series B round follows an $8 million Series A funding secured in April 2025, which was led by Accel with participation from Together Fund. The startup also previously raised $3 million in seed funding. During the Series A announcement, the company reported significant growth over a four-month period, serving a client base that included various outpatient facilities and health centers.
The move comes as venture capital interest in healthcare administrative automation continues to rise. Recent activity in the sector includes Confido Health raising $22.5 million in Series A funding for its AI agents, and Consint.AI securing capital to expand its fraud detection and claims processing technology internationally.
