The Mudima Foundation in Milan has opened a tribute to Austrian painter Helmut Schober, showcasing his lifelong fascination with light and motion. Titled “Luce e Movimento,” the show walks visitors through the key moments of Schober’s career, from his early experiments in Vienna to his later, large‑scale installations that blend colour, kinetic elements and natural illumination.
Curators have arranged the works in chronological order, letting the audience see how the artist’s style evolved while staying rooted in the same visual language. The exhibition not only celebrates Schober’s legacy but also sparks fresh conversations about how light can shape perception in contemporary art.
