Italian Car Market Gains Nearly 10% in September, Stellantis Leads with 12.6% Rise

September turned out to be a bright spot for Italy’s automotive scene, with overall car sales jumping 9.9% compared to the same month last year. Even more impressive was Stellantis, whose sales surged 12.6% in the same period, outpacing the broader market.

Looking at the bigger picture, the first nine months of the year tell a similar story. Nationwide, vehicle registrations climbed 8.7%, while Stellantis recorded a robust 13.9% increase. The numbers suggest that both consumers and manufacturers are feeling more confident, and the momentum could keep rolling into the holiday season.
