Milan has just added another layer of protection to its historical treasures. Palazzo Moriggia is the latest site to receive the UNESCO Blue Shield, a special emblem that signifies the building is protected cultural heritage.

  1. The Red Cross, the National Association of Italian Municipalities, and the Ministry of Culture launched a joint initiative to safeguard Italy’s history.
  2. This campaign is titled ‘The future has a long history, let’s protect it.’
  3. Palazzo Moriggia now proudly displays this marker, making it the fifth location in Milan to be recognized in this way.
