A meaningful new initiative is hitting classrooms across the Veneto region to spark important conversations about respect and safety. Called “SicuraMente,” this project brings the powerful play “Noi” by Zelda Teatro directly to students. It is a collaborative effort between the local regional government and the Cecchettin Foundation, aiming to tackle the critical issue of gender-based violence through the arts.
By using theater as a tool for education, the program hopes to reach young people in a way that truly resonates. The goal is to encourage students to think deeply about their relationships and the culture around them. It is a thoughtful step forward in creating a safer, more aware generation by starting these tough but necessary dialogues right where students learn every day.
