London’s iconic entertainment venue, The O2, is set to keep its famous name for years to come. Virgin Media O2 has officially renewed its partnership with the arena’s operator, Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), securing the naming rights until 2038.
This new ten-year deal kicks off in 2027 and is valued at roughly £200 million, or about €236 million. That works out to £20 million each year, a massive 50% increase over their current agreement. It is officially the largest naming rights extension ever recorded in the UK, ensuring the venue remains a central hub for live music and events for a long time.
