EFG Hermes Hosts 12th Annual London Investor Conference

EFG Hermes launched its 12th annual London Investor Conference on Monday, bringing together 125 publicly traded companies from the Middle East and North Africa with more than 420 investors. The four-day event, held at Emirates Stadium, runs through September 24.

Connecting Regional Firms with Global Capital

The conference features representatives from 181 investment institutions. EFG Hermes, an EFG Holding company, stated the event aims to facilitate direct engagement between regional market leaders and international fund managers. The agenda includes one-on-one meetings, group discussions, and sessions focused on macroeconomic trends, regulatory shifts, and ESG-driven value creation.

Karim Awad, Group CEO of EFG Holding, noted that the region is increasingly viewed as a structural allocation for global capital rather than a cyclical opportunity. He cited ongoing reform agendas and private-sector growth as key drivers for this shift.

Market Outlook and Context

The event occurs as global investors manage geopolitical uncertainty and changing interest rate expectations. According to EFG Hermes, the MENA region continues to attract international interest due to structural reforms and deeper capital markets. Co-CEO Mohamed Ebeid stated that the firm’s conferences serve as a benchmark for corporate access, with the company consistently ranking highly among investors for the quality of its events.
