Imagine looking up at the night sky and seeing the Milky Way swirling right over a mountain peak. That is exactly what photographer Andrea Curzi captured in a breathtaking shot taken at Mount Vettore in Italy. The image, which makes it look like the galaxy is erupting from the mountain itself, has just been named a finalist in a prestigious competition held in Greenwich.
This incredible recognition means Curzi’s work will be on display at a special exhibition in London for the entire year. It is a fantastic achievement for the photographer from the Marche region, whose stunning vision of the Italian landscape will now be seen and admired by visitors from all over the world.
