Egypt Seeks Diverse Financing Sources to Reduce Costs

Egyptian Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk stated that the government intends to access new investor segments across various financing markets to secure more competitive terms. The strategy aims to lower financing costs while advancing national economic goals. Kouchouk made the comments during a meeting with Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) executive Sameh Shenouda on the sidelines of the IMF and World Bank meetings.

Kouchouk emphasized that current fiscal policies prioritize private-sector growth and increased investment. The government intends to boost the production and export of goods and services by supporting projects with high economic returns. Officials are working with the AFC to mobilize private capital and develop a list of priority economic activities to foster sustainable growth. #Egypt #Economy #Finance #Investment #Business
