FIA President Stefano Domenico Domenicali said Formula 1 now reaches about 900 million fans worldwide, with women accounting for more than 40% of the audience.
Domenicali added that the sport’s average fan age is now under 30, reflecting a shift toward a younger, more diverse viewership. He described Formula 1 as evolving into an “experiential platform” that offers more than traditional racing, aiming to engage fans through digital content and interactive experiences.
The comments were made during a recent media briefing where officials highlighted ongoing efforts to broaden the sport’s appeal and attract new demographics.
