The Spanish Football Federation’s (RFEF) disciplinary committee has suspended Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr. for four matches following his red card against Villarreal last Saturday. The ruling confirms the Brazilian player will be ineligible for the upcoming El Clasico match against Barcelona at Camp Nou on October 25.
In addition to the fixture against Barcelona, Vinicius will miss league matches against Sevilla this Sunday, Racing Santander on November 1, and Valencia on November 7. According to the federation’s announcement, the player is not expected to return to league competition until after the November international break. The suspension follows the disciplinary action taken by the RFEF on Wednesday regarding the player’s conduct during the previous weekend’s match.
