MIDYAN Developments Announces EGP 12 Billion Expansion Plan

MIDYAN Developments has unveiled a growth strategy targeting EGP 12 billion in investments across three sectors through 2030. The Cairo-based firm, which focuses on education and healthcare, plans to expand into new asset classes and geographic markets using its built-to-own model, according to company officials. The strategy includes adding one asset annually to its operating portfolio.

CEO Ahmed Lotfy Soliman stated that the group will diversify into sectors such as last-mile logistics while maintaining its core focus on high-demand, long-term assets. The firm currently manages projects including the Alexandria International Academy and the upcoming Mediterranean University, which features a 250-bed hospital. CFO Ihab Abo-Taleb noted that the company evaluates projects based on long-term lifecycle costs and operational viability rather than immediate resale value.
