Egypt’s EOS and PhotonX Partner to Enhance Industrial Product Standards

The Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality (EOS) signed a cooperation agreement with engineering firm PhotonX to improve testing and conformity assessments for domestic products. The protocol, signed by EOS Chairperson Khaled Soufi and PhotonX CEO Mohamed Magdy El Araby, aims to provide specialized technical services to manufacturers.

Under the agreement, the entities will collaborate on testing household appliances and engineering goods for safety, energy efficiency, and environmental performance. Soufi stated the partnership seeks to integrate national standardization efforts with private sector technical capabilities. By offering verified testing reports, the initiative intends to help manufacturers meet regulatory requirements and improve product quality for both domestic and international markets. The collaboration supports industry development from initial design to final export readiness.
