Valencia CF and Athletic Club played to a 0-0 draw at Mestalla, extending Valencia’s winless streak at home to five matches. The result marked the debut of manager Javier Aguirre, though the team struggled to find a breakthrough against a defensive Athletic side that lacked finishing power. Despite the lack of goals, the match highlighted the individual form of midfielder Javi Guerra, who continued to lead the Valencia attack with consistent play.
Guerra received support from 19-year-old winger David Otorbi, whose speed on the right flank provided a new outlet for the offense. While the point offers a marginal improvement under new leadership, Valencia remains winless in front of its home supporters. The club continues to seek a consistent offensive rhythm as the season progresses. #ValenciaCF #AthleticClub #LaLiga #JaviGuerra
