Ghoneim Developments Group announced the launch of “The One,” a mixed-use complex in Mokattam, Cairo, on Oct. 13. The development will combine retail, medical and administrative facilities in a single site.
The unveiling took place at the Triumph Luxury Hotel in Katameya and featured a performance by singer Tamer Hosny. Islam Ghoneim, the group’s CEO, said the project is intended to host varied activities, from shops and clinics to office spaces, within one development.
The One expands GDG’s real‑estate portfolio, joining a wave of Mokattam projects that blend residential, commercial and service uses. Nearby, The Novelist development covers more than 30 feddans and offers 1,694 housing units overlooking the New Mokattam Corniche.
Founded in 1968, Ghoneim Developments Group has diversified from contracting and infrastructure work into real‑estate development, adding The One to its growing list of commercial and medical ventures.
