The Giovine Orchestra Genovese launched its new concert season with a performance of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos. The event took place at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa.
The orchestra hosted the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin as a guest ensemble for the opening night. The Berlin-based group is known for its period-instrument performances of Baroque music. The collaboration marks the beginning of the organization’s latest programming cycle, which traditionally focuses on classical repertoire.
