Egyptian star Ahmed Hatem’s new film Red Flag hit theaters on 9 September across Egypt, Saudi Arabia and other Arab markets, mixing social comedy with a look at modern relationships.
- Hatem and actress Gamila Awad reunite after their hit Arousty, this time playing a pilot and an advertising manager navigating marital quirks.
- The story spotlights everyday “red flags” – dishonesty, selfishness, infidelity – while reminding viewers that not every dispute deserves that label.
- Veteran Sherif Mounir joins the cast, adding depth to the comedic exploration of love’s warning signs.
- A cheeky promo campaign, including the viral “Go Back to Your Father’s House” clips, amplified buzz and highlighted the film’s playful take on married life.
