New Tourism Projects Coming to Hurghada

Big changes are coming to the Red Sea coast. Egypt’s Tourism Development Authority just greenlit 16 new land allocations in the South Magawish area of Hurghada. Spanning over 1 million square meters, these projects are all about boosting the region’s tourism appeal. The plan is to build a mix of hotels, entertainment hubs, and service centers that will create jobs and make the area even more attractive for visitors.

This massive expansion is expected to add hundreds of new hotel rooms and even two exciting water parks, with one managed by an international operator. Officials are prioritizing these integrated developments to help diversify what Hurghada offers. The government will be keeping a close eye on progress to ensure everything opens on schedule.
