Bengaluru-based startup Live2.ai has raised Rs 130 crore ($14 million) in a pre-Series B funding round led by IvyCap Ventures. The capital injection includes both fresh funding for business growth and a secondary component offering liquidity to early shareholders.
Live2.ai utilizes artificial intelligence to link social media data with marketing and commerce strategies. The company plans to use the new funds to enhance its AI agent platform, scale enterprise deployments, and bolster cloud infrastructure in North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. Additionally, the startup intends to hire engineers, data scientists, and customer success personnel.
Expanding AI Capabilities in Social Commerce
The platform monitors consumer conversations across social media channels, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and X. It analyzes trends and influencer content before converting approved material into shoppable experiences for retail outlets, websites, and customer relationship management systems.
“Brands today are drowning in signals and starved of action,” said J Venkat, co-founder and CEO of Live2.ai. According to the company, the funding will integrate detection, decision-making, and activation into a single workflow for global enterprise clients.
Vikram Gupta, founder and managing partner at IvyCap Ventures, stated that the firm is building an “AI-native operating system” to convert cultural signals into commerce while maintaining corporate security standards.
Market Growth and Global Reach
Live2.ai currently serves more than 200 brands, including Shiseido, Titan Brands, and Henkel’s Schwarzkopf. The company reported a fourfold increase in revenue over the last 12 months, with 90% of that revenue generated outside of India.
This investment follows a broader trend of increased funding for artificial intelligence startups in India. The government has also launched the IndiaAI Mission, which allocates Rs 10,371.92 crore over five years to support domestic AI infrastructure and safety policies.
