Employees at the SoraNews24 office in Tokyo coordinated a group costume theme for the company’s annual Halloween tradition. Staff members decided to dress as the character Guile from Capcom’s Street Fighter video game series. The decision to have everyone portray the same character was inspired by the game mechanics introduced in Street Fighter II: Championship Edition, which allow multiple players to select identical avatars.

Preparation and Execution

The office preparation involved minimal materials. Staff members utilized yellow paper to recreate Guile’s signature hairstyle, relying on individual interpretation for the final design. The transformation process took approximately 20 minutes and occurred within the open-plan office space.
