Italian special effects pioneer Carlo Rambaldi will receive his 15th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, with a preview exhibition of his paintings opening at the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles.
The show, titled “Dreaming the Cosmos,” features a selection of Rambaldi’s personal canvases that explore themes of space and imagination. Organizers said the exhibition is intended to highlight the artist’s broader creative legacy beyond his film work, which includes the iconic alien in “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.”
Rambaldi, who passed away in 2012, is the first Italian special effects artist to be honored with a Walk of Fame star. The ceremony will be attended by representatives of the film industry and members of the Italian community in Los Angeles. #CarloRambaldi #HollywoodWalkOfFame #ItalianCulture #ArtExhibition
