Egypt and Japan Partner to Overhaul 20 Technical Schools

Educational Collaboration Targets Nursing and IT

Egypt is partnering with Japan’s Kyoto Ikueikan Educational Group to upgrade 20 technical schools into international applied technology institutions. The project focuses on nursing, elderly care, and information technology, with the first classes scheduled for the next academic year.

  1. Minister of Education Mohamed Abdel Latif met with Kyoto Ikueikan CEO Hidetaka Matsuo to finalize executive steps for the cooperation agreement.
  2. The initiative will renovate 10 nursing schools, five IT schools, and five elderly care facilities using Japanese curricula and equipment.
  3. The partnership aims to prepare Egyptian students by offering training opportunities within Japan to build professional expertise.

Both nations agreed to continue coordination to ensure the upgraded programs launch on schedule next year. #Education #Egypt #Japan #TechnicalTraining @MOEEgypt
