DALTEX Partners With Irritech to Expand Irrigation Systems in North Africa

Egyptian agribusiness DALTEX Corporation has signed a strategic partnership with China-based Irritech to distribute large-scale irrigation systems across Egypt, Algeria, and Libya. The agreement designates DALTEX as the exclusive seller for Irritech products in these markets.

The Facts

DALTEX will provide Irritech’s center-pivot and linear irrigation systems, including AI-enabled technology, to agricultural operations in the three countries. DALTEX reports it has previously designed irrigation systems for over 600,000 feddans and installed more than 5,000 center pivots. The company offers project design, installation, and maintenance services.

Analysis

The partnership combines DALTEX’s regional project management experience with Irritech’s manufacturing capabilities. Tarek Nowara, Projects and Irrigation Director at DALTEX, stated the collaboration aims to foster long-term growth. The deal allows DALTEX to expand its agricultural technology portfolio while providing clients with integrated equipment and technical support.

Outlook

Both companies intend to improve water management efficiency for agricultural businesses in the region. Future efforts will focus on deploying technology-driven irrigation solutions to optimize field performance and water usage across the three target markets.
